Satoshi Tomiie 富家哲 (Tomīe Satoshi) is a Japanese house-music producer and DJ. He has written music for numerous soundtracks, including for the Animatrix soundtrack and remixed many artists including the Future Sound of London.
Released in 2001, Satoshi Tomiie’s “Love in Traffic” is a seminal progressive house and tribal anthem featuring ethereal, repeating vocal loops by former Sneaker Pimps singer Kelli Ali. The track is widely celebrated for its hypnotic atmosphere and slamming tribal drums.
